Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine preventative maintenance (PM) and servicing on machinery.

• Repairs & Assembly: Assisting with equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and basic assembly of parts.

• Tool Usage: Safely operating various hand and power tools.

• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, and maintaining a clean work area (5S).

• Work Order Management: Reading and following instructions from work orders.

• Teamwork: Collaborating with other technicians and supporting senior mechanics.

• General Duties: Completing assigned tasks as directed by supervisors. 

Typical Skills & Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of basic machinery.

• Ability to work in a loud industrial setting.

• Understanding of safety regulations.

• Ability to lift heavy objects (often 50+ lbs) and use full body strength.
